Pawn in the Game

No Direction Home, the new PBS doc about Bob Dylan by Scorsese is totally worth the hype. Highly suggested viewing. Made me want to try and save the world again, like I attempted to when I lived in Boston. Oh, and Pete Seeger is interviewed while wearing a bright red sweatshirt with the ASL sign for "I love you" stitched onto to it. So excellent.

In other news: I heard an MIA song on a Honda commercial today. I know it was only a matter of time but with her politics I thought at least she would have chosen to whore herself out for the Hybrid model and not the Civic. Oh, and the new Franz Ferdinand song "Do You Want To" is being used for some WB show. *Tear* Great vid for that song, btw. They make fun of the crowd from "the aht school that is so im-port-ant." The boys have album launch parties this week in NY and Boston but all three of us that are reading this know there's a 0% chance of me going.
